I have an old CD-44 Series 3 rotor on the bench. When turning, it sounds like it's pouring concrete for a new tower. I opened it up, gears look ok. Turns smoothly, but sounds "crunchy". Is this noise normal? Also: There seems to be way more grease on the bearings than is necessary (to me). How much grease should be in there? TNX, Don - K4BEV k4bev@aol.com |
