Dear TowerTalk,
I am going to purchase my very first rotor and I would value your help and
suggestions about what to buy. There are so few eHAM reviews you would think
that very few guys have rotors! I know there must be a lot of you out there
with great experience and opinions.

My ANT is the new FLUIDMOTION SteppIR Yagi (http://www.fluidmotion.ws) and
it is rated at 6sq ft and 42 pounds. I am using a roof-top tower (see pix
http://www.n9vv.com/w9iix_quad_pod/index.htm). since the ANT is relatively low
and not too heavy I was going to try a less-expensive model from Yaesu. But
buddies on the air say to get the best you can afford because it will last a
lifetime and cause you fewer headaches. What in the world is the "right" way
to go?

Your suggestions and opinions welcomed please,
