Hi Rick,
PEP is equal to CW carrier power. That's why we can run 1500 w PEP
SSB, or 1500 watts CW carrier.
Unless they give a specific lower CW or RTTY rating, "2kW PEP"
specifically means 2 kW carrier, because the envelope peak is equal
to the steady condition (unless you have a defective radio) .
That doesn't mean it will work of course, but that's what the numbers
would mean.
