If it's a dried out capacitor or a sticky brake, it's a lot easier to
correct that than replacing the rotor.
I've had a T2X up turning a TH7 and 402CD for 12 years now,
without a problem (other than an occasional sticky brake).
A couple of years ago, I put up a TR44 rotor, not used in over 25
years, to turn a 2m Yagi. It worked without a hitch, after replacing
the motor cap. in the control box.
While I've never tried a Yaesu rotor, and not used a Hygain post-
MFJ purchase rotor, I like my CDR-Hygain-MFJ rotors.
