300 foot runs, both 1/2" (CATV industry "500) and 3/4" (CATV industry 750);
plan to install some 1" (CATV 1000?) this fall. So far I've employed the
W8ZD baluns; for 2m & up, 1/12 wavelength baluns on 6m, no baluns on HF,
although plans are in 1994 ARRL handbook for broad band HF baluns. Plan to
build my own next time.
I have some 1/2" & some 3/4" CATV hardline splices to sell if anyone is
interested; same that the CATV installers use.
