It is called cognitive dissonance and a description of it can be found in most
basic psychology text books.

Hello to all,
After following this whole discussion, I am curious about something. Why are
those of us who have the StepIR antenna trying to convince those who don't
what a great antenna it is? Personally, I don't want those other guys to
have as strong a signal as I do in the pile ups. I guess it must be
sportsmanship. For me, I hope they all buy Mosleys.
