What is considered a safe distance to locate a tower from power lines? The ARRL Antenna book number is 2 times the tower high, but I have seen may commercial and ammeter tower that would definitely hit a power line if they fall. What about the insulated wires from the pole into a house? Is it save to be closer to them? Jeff Burns AD9T |
