Perhaps this is a little off topic, but I am sure that there are some  
readers of TowerTalk who are former members of the University of  
Illinois Radio Club or perhaps you know someone who is.  Jay was  
trustee of the club for years and was a ham in the truest sense of the  
word.

We've lost a dear friend.  I shall miss him.

Again, I apologize for the off topic post, but thought this would be a  
good way to get the message out.
