What I have used in the past was a piece of 1/8" Dacron rope about 3' long.
I inserted it into the end of the element. I folded over part of the rope
and pushed the end cap on to hold the rope in place. Some say you can use a
dab of silicone glue to hold the rope in pace.

I have had read somewhere on this reflector that in order to damp element
vibration in the wind you have to insert rope inside the elements.
I am just about to install my Mosley TA36 with 40M kit and would like to
install such a modification. How it is done exactly?
