The next time someone asks me this, I can tell them, "My Hi-Gain TH3-Mk3, up
about 35 feet". We had the big raising today with a respectable turnout of
the Mercer Island Radio Organization (MIRO) fellows. Everything went very
smoothly, we started at 9am and were done by noon. Here's what it looks
like: http://www.netdave.com/wa0ttn/images/towerup/Tower1.jpg. A rather
modest height, but more than enough for my QTH. The full photo album for
this is at http://www.netdave.com/wa0ttn/towerproject.htm, if you're
interested.
I just wanted to thank everyone in this discussion group for their guidance
and wisdom, even though some of my questions were ones you've all answered
for the umpteenth time. And my extra thanks to Steve, K7LXC, for the extra
25G section and for being such a great resource for us all.
73 to everyone, see you on the air!
