I've acquired a tower that is very similar to a Rohn BX tower although it is
lighter weight and smaller (distance between the legs). There are no
markings on it of any kind so I don't know who made it. It's 40 feet tall
and has 2 guy points (another difference from the BX).
I plan to use it with a 2m beam antenna. The tower has some surface rust on
it that I'd like to deal with. Someone told me there is some kind of
material that I can spray or paint on that bonds with the rust to create a
paintable surface. Anyone know what that is? Any other ideas for dealing
with the rust?
