I would wait a while on the tower and get some simple HF antennas up first.  
This will give you a chance to play on the air and find out what your real HF 
interests are.  You can spend a lot of $$ on a tower and antennas that in the 
end don't buy you much if you are just interested in stateside ragchewing. 
digital modes, etc.   There is no single, one size fits all solution.  Each 
installation is unique and tailored to the interests of the owner/operator.
  
Since you are on a hill, you have a height advantage already, so simple 
antennas should play rather well.   Get on the air and have some fun!
