Don't know if these have the tips you want.
I have an SP80 with a 3/8 inch tip. It works
very well with PL-259's. I don't need to
tin the braid to get nice, smooth solder
dimples on the holes.
I'd probably buy the 120w, if I had it to
do over. This is only because others recommend
irons as high as 175w, not because I
haven't had good success with 80w.
Guns do not have enough heat - the tips have
too little mass.

You got me all excited as I have had the same experience with "guns".
It seems that Weller discontinued the SP175.
I e-mailed the to see if they replaced it with a new model..
