I use two Weller soldering guns. 140 watts for the center conductor and 250
watts for the shell.
Also, I tin the braid before I cut it with a tubing cutter. Makes assembly
and soldering the braid to the shell a lot easier.
A friend of mine uses a heat gun (designed for stripping paint) he purchased
at home depot. Probably 1500 watts.
