Depending on what sort of antennas you intend to put on your mast, you may
want to consider mounting the bottom (presumably largest) antenna first and
lifting the smaller antennas thru it. Then just let the big antenna rest on
the top plate as you jack the mast up thru its loose clamps, I did it that
way when I did my original installation about 10 years ago but lost the
whole thing in a storm a year and a half ago. In the time between
installations, I completely forgot about doing it that way and stacked
everything from the top down. When it came time to put the HF beam up
(C4SXL), I could not rotate it into position because the smaller antennas
were in the way! Ended up hiring a crane because it was the only way to get
the antenna up there! Only real downside to that was that I wish I would
have called the crane in a month earlier - it sure would have saved a bunch
of headaches and failed efforts.
