Tower-talkers: Many thanks for your responses on this issue. I cannot tell you how much I have learned from this site over the years-not just hardware issues, but also legal matters, public relations,etc. What has surprised me in the responses is that so many of you have been parties to or seen local zoning issues where the authorities try to make/change the law on the back of an applicant. I had this done to me twice in New York on two non-radio matters. I thought it wasn't that common, despite many communities being anti-antenna, but apparently it is. Thanks again to all of you for your apparently limitless source of knowledge and experience on these matters and your willingness to share it in the true ham spirit. Mike Mattes W2LO
