Same here. Put the ICE whole house model & phones mains unit in at the
services entrance and not one lost device since. Had two hits and lost
equipment both time prior to installing the ICE.

I installed the one sold by ICE.  Simple, self-installation connecting the
device to a new breaker in the box.
