Rich,

My 100-foot, Rohn 25, series-fed vertical for 160 meters (with parasitic
radiators) sits amid a grove of about 25 loblolly pines. They are about 50 feet
high. Beyond them is some yard area, 30- to 100-feet wide, then a mixed woods
of pines and hardwoods, typically 70-80 feet tall. There are hundreds of
radials on the ground.

My two other 100-foot towers (and a fourth going up now) sit in small clearings
in the 70- to 80-foot-tall trees.

I seem to get out OK. Haven't noticed any seasonal changes in SWR. The
Beverages also go through the woods and seem to work fine.

Pix on my web site will give you an idea of the setting: www.aa1k.us. Love my
trees!
