I got in late on this subject so I may be a bit off subject. I have always
been concerned about anchor corrosion. I use galvanized, screw-in, 8 in. dia
anchors with a 1 in. shaft. Next to one anchor I have installed an
additional anchor to the same depth. Once a year I remove the extra anchor
for inspection.  I have been doing this at different locations for 40 years
and never found a  problem.
 
Lots of extra work !!!!!
