Thats the way it works for me.
Tower is 22 meters. ( free standing )
Mast inside is 22 meters.
Rotor is mounted 5 meters above GL.
VHF and UHF antennae are at 27 meters
2 and 5 interlaced elements trapped beam is mounted at 22 m 5 and can
sit on top of the tower to secure the beam when working on the antenna.
Rotor platform can be lowered by only one hand and so easily blocked
because of a counter weights. The weights go up at 5 meters when the
rotor comes down at ground level.
But there is about 12° of torque on the mast ( Torque would be there
even with a solid mast). 12° torque doesn't matter on long distances.
Rotor is an older version G2000 Yeasu with modified remote control.
Heavy switches are replaced with little push-buttons and a bunch of
electronic. ( amateur delight )etc etc...

Jim makes a good point. And a neat trick which is probably only in the
minds of us old farts is to weld a motorcycle spring to the bottom of
the mast, and the other end to a short piece of mast out of the rotor.
Had a buddy do that hundreds of years ago with a big 3 element 40,
when you could probably count the number of 40 meter beams in the
world and come up with less than 50.
Provides anti-torque on stat and stop.
