I have a chance to pick up a used but never installed Yaesu G-800DXA rotator
and lower mast clamp for a fair price. It was never hung in a tower to turn
antennas, it was used to test long wiring leads for antenna installs.
I have seen the picture on Yaesu web site but not seen the actual rotator.
Anyone familiar with this rotator? Reviews I have read seem positive with a
couple of exceptions. Since I have to replace my old rotator I am thinking
this one would be fine for the A3S and VHF beam I am using here.
Comments appreciated.
