The manufacturer says you MUST use a 2:1 balun rated for 5 kw. Just asked
because those numbers at feedpoint sounded strange for me. It´s a very

What does the manufacturer recommend? Would the 2:1 balun be for 100 ohms
rather than 25?
I would try to get feed point impedance to 50 ohms then use a standard 1:1
current balun or RF choke. A hairpin coil usually is a good device to set
impedance for a Yagi.
