Here is a pic of my 3 wire dipole
http://carpetcareservices.homestead.com/sImg_6614.jpg
I used 14 inch long pvc with a holes drilled 1 inch from the ends to feed
the wires thru, that keeps the wires 12 inches apart.
I have also not detected any interaction between the 20,40 and 80m wires. I
did however end up adding a bit of length to each wire to tune them to mid
band. ( I thought that I would have to trim them when I made the antenna)
I do not know if this is due to interaction between the wires or just the
feed line.
You can also see the air-wound choke, the 10m dipole made out of aluminum
angle and my 2m collinear at the very top.
Hope this helps a bit.
