Barrie:
increase loss is very easy, reduce loss is more
expensive.
you need LMR-500 ? LMR 500 is close to 1/2 inch
Hardline , 1/2 superflex is a little more than lmr400
but a little less that LMR-500, use one of the coax
calculators that can find online using google.com or
any other search
get the lenght at the freq you need.
more easy to find hardline that LMR-500 , i receive a
flyer from a company called Browning, the brand they
handle is TRAM CB and Ham antennas, they have a type
400 cable and a 500 cable this cables are solid copper
not copper clad aluminum, weight a little more than
LMR-400, you can ask for samples, i get a samples and
looks good quality, i don't buy any spool at the
moment but the price looks great , 500ft for less than
200 dlls in the 500 class and 160 for the 400 class
same 500ft
that was an option, i will go for the hard line
better than looks for other option, easy to get
