I want to apologize to five or six members of the list who wrote to me
backchannel about my recent post for help with these 589s I recently
bought used. My Win-XP operating system on this three or four year old
Dell became corrupted about two weeks ago and I was struggling with
using it without an operational IE…. The email program (Outlook)
continued to work but then started not actually sending replies I had
typed, and might have not been getting all my mail (that probably was
not the case), but I finally reached my limit and reformatted the drive
and reloaded XP from start…
However, although I rescued almost everything important, I forgot to
save my email files, and I lost all of it including all the previous
emails I had archived.
In any case, if you were kind enough to write me and didn’t get a
response… please know I wrote back to each of you (particularly there
was an email from Cubex, and several from 6-land ops) and really
appreciated your help. If you would be kind enough to write me again, I
will respond this time. I still have some questions and am still
struggling getting information from US Towers (although Gary there is
trying to be helpful but I think his email program is working as badly
as mine was working).
If you will write me again back channel, I would like to pick back up on
where we ended up.
