Do a Google search for Alodine. It is readily available, in fact I
used it to chromate the chassis of the amp I am building. I bought
mine from a company called Aircraft Spruce. You need to prepare the
aluminum surface first with a solution, also sold by them.

Note that Alodine is not paint; it chemically bonds with the aluminum
whereas paint forms a mechanical bond.
