Standard equipment on Universal aluminum towers is plated nuts and bolts. 
For an upgrade fee they will ship stainless steel nuts and bolts.  I have 
had Universal aluminum towers bolted together with both kinds of hardware 
for over 20 years with no problems.  I don't recall seeing any electrolysis.
