Why not stretch another wire above the electrified one and take it directly to ground so that if the antenna wire does contact the fence wire it will short to ground as it will likely be on the upper wire that is grounded before touching the electrified wire. I've used this, though I've never had a wire antenna come down on our electric horse fencing.
