Fwiw, it takes a face-width of around 24 inches to fit completely inside a 
section.  I have one in an 18 inch faced tower, its motor hangs out one 
side, and does a fine job of turning a TH11/402CD stack.   If you have an 
older one, put a bonnet on the mast to keep water out of the exposed bearing 
on the top.
