There is plenty of info  that depicts the catastrophic damage to the human body 
from a none Shock release safety lanyard even if the safety STRAP is used in 
the back  center shoulder blade  D Ring.
 
This Fall arrest lanyard with small and Big R Bar is IMO reasonably priced.
