I install a pull line when I install the conduit. OTOH I also have a
100' fish tape. Pull boxes are cheap and good insurance.
and I agree, don't skimp on the "wire soap", pulling lubricant, or what
ever you want to call it. I'm a firm believer that you can't get too
much of the stuff in there. Any excess will just push or run out. The
difference between pulling with with and without lube is like the
difference between night and day. Besides some coax doesn't like to
slide easily in PVC conduit. Eben the "big box" stores have it in one
or two quart squeeze bottles.
