I have a G-800SA and thought I had some problems with my control unit....I now
have a spare if anyone wants one. Anyhow, you can eliminate the control unit
from the troubleshouting with a 12 VDC power supply. Just apply the 12 VDC to
the motor wire and watch it turn. Reverse to see it turn the other way. Put a
ohm meter on the potentiameter connection and watch it change. If it does all
that, it is the control unit. Check the output connector for the correct rotor
voltage as you switch directions on the control unit.

Good luck, Craig K9CT
