The tech guy at Milwaukee volunteered that my drill puts out
90 foot pounds. What he didn't say is that this is for a minute
or two at a time.

I guess I'm confused here. Above you said you wanted 90 to 120
RPM. That is hand crank speed or nearly so. Even at that speed,
the winch gets hot under heavy load.
