Michael,

Have a look at http://users.spin.net.au/~aeitower/ and chase up the 
U.S. licencee or have a similar transport mechanism mounted on a 
tower you finish up with.

The Slide carriage allows you to lower your antennas without ever 
having to place your feet on the tower.

The only association I have with One Man Towers is that I am an Aussie as well.
