Jim makes a valid point.  I had considerable trouble with my 2800's (2 
of them) using rg58 for the pulse circuits.  My longer run is only about 
300 feet and buried except vertical up the  towers. .  Changing to the 
stuff sold by The RF Connection (2 #12 and a twisted pair in a shield) 
and letting the rotor end of the shield float has been trouble free for 
about 5 years now.  If  I generate rfi I don't hear it on the radio. 

If you decide to use "house wire" for the motor circuit be sure to buy 
UF not NM. 73 bob de w9ge
