If you don't have an answer yet, I'd say its a little premature to throw
someone under the bus.
Ask the question, find out what the story is, THEN back over him. Who
knows, he may have a real good reason to be out of touch.

Anybody had any live dealings with Rob at Idiom Press in the last month?
He seems to have disappeared which apparently is nothing new for him. I
placed an order and got a quick automatic reply but that's it. I also
had various queries ignored over the last 2 months. In any other world I
would just walk away but Idiom Press makes some items that have no
competition. Seems that Rob is taking advantage of us with such great
customer service.
