There's a lot of variance in rivets, beyond material and mandrel material.
I like the Avex rivets, because they handle a wide grip range, and not too
expensive Don't need a lot of different grip lengths
At Aircraft Spruce:
1601-0613 3/16", grip to .25
1601-0410 1/8", grip to .187
I had some Pop brand rivets, where the grip range boundary for two sizes was
right at .125" (one size had it as max, the other size as min). Which isn't so
great, given that .125" (or .116"?) is the magic distance for most telescoping
tubing nowadays.
