Roger and others

I too am planning on putting up a 100 (maybe 110') Rohn 45G this spring.

And I want a safety climb system on it.

Did some looking around on the net tonight and found the following

http://www.trylon.com/safetyclimb/safetyclimb.asp

I also am considering a winch and cable system that I could "ride" up and down
and at the same time be connected to the safety cable.

Anyone got any ideas on that combination...

My 73 year old legs do not look forward to climbing 110 feet up and down very
often!

I work for an AM FM combo here in NW FLorida (with a 466' tower out back of
where I am working right now).

The owner also has two 250' heavy duty Sabre guyed towers that have lots of
cellphone, communications and three ham repeaters systems on them. Both of
these towers have a large safety cable on them. The tower riggers that work
on those towers use the Trylon gear.

ps. next weekend I'll be working the CQWW160 SSB contest, feeding my little ole
100 watts into that 466' vertical(3ft on each face) and sitting in the middle
of 5 acres of copper ground system. Hope I work some of you TT guys.
