I use a medium prop pitch motor to turn my 20m and 40m beams, however I
often wonder if it is any better than the small. The medium has a 7063:1
gear ratio and the small has a 9576:1 ratio. Which has more torque and
braking?

Hi Bill -
PPM's come in small, medium and large. Even the "small" would probably do the
job. Kurt / K7NV could give good advice. One of them and a Blue Heron
controller would really give you a first class setup.
