McMaster Carr sells pulleys. They have an assortment but from what I have
seen (including the ones I bought for my HyGain HG-70D) these are not
stainless steel but have some sort of plating, cadium plating or something.
I will assume they might be good for 6 mos to a year before they begin to
rust so bad they will ruin the cables that I just put on. This tower came
with aluminum pulleys. Not a bad idea since they wont rust, but they are
soft and deteriorate quickly. They use a bronze bushing that is easily
replaced..also easily trashed. As soon as the bronze busing goes, the
pulley begins to elongate and that's when things get real interesting. I
plan to get something from one of the major tower companies and pay whatever
is required to get the right stuff. Anything else is just looking for
trouble. So it's pay them now or pay them later. =Mike

They make the bearings for one of the tower manufacturers. Lots of
choices, but make sure the measurements are correct.
