I have been using PowerPoles for my rotor connections.  I have eight (8)
different colored ones.  I can easily switch between home shack and
remote shack.  The connections are housed inside a waterproof metal box.
Yes!  It is grounded, too.

While that sounds like a good idea, I'd like to suggest either a multi-pin
Cinch-Jones connector or a connector for a utility trailer. The Pwr-Poles
will be hard to keep "straight" as far as 1-1, 2-2, etc. With the others,
it's one plug-up. they are polorized, and you're done.
