Matt,
BN-4000B is 3.25 x 6.25". I have never blown one.
BN-86 is significantly smaller. Easy to blow one if running 1.5KW on 40M and
left the antenna switch on your tribander with a BN-86.

Subject: [TowerTalk] FW: hygain BN-86 balun
I have acquired several Hy-Gain baluns that came along with second-hand Long
Johns. The labels are long gone off of these. Is there any easy way to
determine if they are BN-86 or BN-4000?
Thanks,
Matt
