Depends on the soil and the size of the anchor.

I've had 200' of 45G guyed for 30 years with *big* screw-in anchors. The soil is heavy clay and gravel mix, and when we installed them there was no doubt that they would not be the weak link in the system. They have never budged.

I will say though that a new tower installed by unknown persons in unknown soil would give me pause before I climbed it.
