Suggest to check the wiring inside the rotor connected to terminal #1
(ground wire). The potentiometer and the motor both use this common ground
connection to complete their circuits. The brake circuit is also connected
to terminal #1 but via a direct connection as I recall.

I have a T2X I took from the tower because it was not working.
I have taken it apart and have the following problem:
The brake release normal.
No turning either way even not a buzz from the motor
Indicator is not working, no reaction when I turn the wiper by hand.
Same way happened with a different cable and or control box.
I would go for it when you say the motor is "shot" but then what about the
indicator.
Any help is appreciated.
