I am thinking the same a K5GW.
Do you have any gain antennas for the WARC bands ?
I also have a 22 foot chrome moly mast extending from my tower. I had the same
thought
when I took down a yagi in the stack. I decided to install a F12, 12m and 17m
dual band yagi for the warc
bands instead. Glad I did, I've been working a lot of DX on the WARC bands.
I wouldn’t be to hasty about cutting the mast shorter. You most probably will
be glad you did later
on for another antenna. Its a nice problem to have, hihi.
