I doubt seriously that it has a built-in PL259.

Bet it's a built-in SO239.

to which you attach your wires. It also has stout points to tie off your
wires and a support rope point.  For permanent dipoles, I'm a big fan of
the COMTEK or BalunDesigns baluns that have the same features, but are
excellent current baluns as well.
