    You should read the tribander comparison report by  N0AX and K7LXC "HF 
Tribander Performance - Test Methods and Results" available  from 
_www.championradio.com_ (http://www.championradio.com) . Some  people went to a 
lot of 
work to conduct the test and publish the results.  Includes the protocol 
and other germane information.
