There are ends made for sealing (DX Engineering and others have them). I just put some caulk in the cap and push it on the end of the Phillystran. The caps are about 0.25USD or so a piece. No problem in 10 years so far.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Sealing Ends of Phillystran HPTG-1200

I just finished assembling my M2 40M4LLDD 40 meter Yagi. The element
supports use Phillystran HPTG-1200.. I've heard that the inner fiber core
of Phillystran is highly affected by water intrusion, but the manual makes
no mention of sealing or capping the ends of the Phillystran.

Do I need to seal or cap the ends to protect against water intrusion? If
so, what is the preferred way to do this?

Thank you,
J D Lambright - KF5U
