Doug-
I'm pretty sure that's the maximum dead weight the cable is spec'd for.
Sure there is a safety factor, but you shouldn't encroach on it much.
More important is how much wind load 200 pounds of antenna surface will put
on the structure.
Best to call UST and ask to speak with their licensed PE who is responsible
for the specs. I went over all those loading questions with their engineer
and he was very helpful.

Subject: [TowerTalk] engineering help? Antenna weight for US Tower TX472
Hi all,
http://www.ustower.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/TX-472.pdf
I am wondering about the spec for 200 pounds of antenna weight. Can someone
with some engineering background/experience please review the above link and
let me know:
1. Is there a "safety factor" on the 200 pounds? If so, what is it?
2. What point is the weak link for the 200 pounds?
RSVP
Thanks!!
