I have noticed some surface rust starting on the tilt over cable on my
HDX-555. I have purchased replacement cable but am having a heck of a
time finding someone who can properly terminate it for me. Any
suggestions from any one on where to start looking? I hit up the local
small airfield but they don't have anything for the 1/4" cable. I tried
a shop that makes hydraulic hoses thinking they had presses, they might
also have the dies for swagging but they don't either.
Has anyone ever gotten winch cable replacements from UST directly?
